Will all Home Inspectors be Chartered Surveyors

In our experience, Home Inspectors come from a variety of backgrounds.

Although some are already surveyors and valuers, most are new entrants to the profession, bringing with them a wide variety of prior experience, skills, knowledge or qualifications.

The principle of "Open Access" underpinning the Home Inspector Certification Scheme will mean that literally anyone who wants to apply to become a Home Inspector may do so. The key to the success of the scheme and the quality of Home Inspectors is the robustness of the assessment regime.
