What is the diploma in Home Inspection (dip HI)

The diploma is a work based qualification - currently a vocationally related award (VRQ). Although, it is likely to be offered as a national vocational qualification (NVQ) once the role is 'live'.
The diploma has been developed from the national occupational standards (NOS) for HIs and is included in the national qualifications framework at level 4 (highlighted below).

The Awarding Body for the Built Environment (ABBE) developed the diploma, which can be run by approved Assessment Centres.
